This Privacy Policy explains how Luminero AI LLC ("Luminero," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit luminero.org (the "Site") or contact us through it. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. When you apply through our careers form, we collect your name, email address, any résumé or other materials you upload, and the information you choose to include in your application.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the Site running. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we use analytics, we use a privacy-friendly service that reports only aggregate visit data and does not set cookies or identify you personally.
Cookies
The Site does not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies. We use only the minimal, essential technology needed for the Site to function. Because we do not set non-essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide any consent mechanism the law requires.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
- To review and respond to job and network applications;
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;

- Service providers who help us operate the Site and our business — for example, our website host and form processor (Netlify) and our email provider (Google Workspace). They may process your information only on our behalf.

- With your consent, in any other case.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. Contact messages are retained while we correspond and for a reasonable period afterward. Application materials are retained only as long as needed to evaluate your candidacy and for a limited time thereafter, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under U.S. state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act) to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of it (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at hello@luminero.org. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
Luminero AI LLC is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from and hosted in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
